Identity + Inclusion Series • Gender, Work-Life, and Careers Before and During COVID-19 with Prof. Erin Kelly

Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 4:00 PM until 5:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

MIT Sloan Admissions invites you to join Professor Erin Kelly for a master class as part of our Identity + Inclusion Series, spotlighting MIT Sloan’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Caregiving commitments and work-life challenges are part of the story of gender inequality at work, though not the whole story. Professor Erin Kelly will share some research on these topics, and discuss whether flexible work arrangements help and how the COVID-19 crisis creates new challenges for progress towards gender equity in the workplace.

Erin L. Kelly is the Sloan Distinguished Professor of Work and Organization Studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management and CoDirector in the Institute for Work and Employment Research. She is also Faculty Director of the the Good Companies, Good Jobs Initiative.
