During this conversation, Professor Deborah J. Lucas and her advisee Joanne Im will talk about their work and what it is like to be a PhD student in the Finance research group. This conversation will be a chance to hear directly from a faculty member and a student about their experiences and interests. 
 
Professor Lucas is the Sloan Distinguished Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Director of the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy. Joanne Im is a 6th year PhD student in the Finance research group.
